Control & Consequences

  • Do you keep going back to the same sexual behaviors even when you promise yourself you won't?
  • Do you find yourself unable to stop despite negative consequences?
  • Has your sexual behavior caused problems in your relationships, work, or daily life?
  • Do you spend excessive time in sexual fantasy, planning, or activity?

Secrecy & Shame

  • Do you lead a double life to hide your sexual behaviors?
  • Do you feel shame, guilt, or despair about your sexual behavior?
  • Are you afraid of what others would think if they knew about your sexual activities?
  • Do you lie to cover up your sexual behavior?

Escalation & Isolation

  • Do you find yourself needing more intense or frequent sexual activity to feel satisfied?
  • Has your sexual behavior become more extreme or risky over time?
  • Do you isolate yourself to engage in sexual behavior?
  • Do you feel hopeless about ever being able to change?
